We conducted in vivo pre-pilot and pilot studies in dairy cows with leading mastitis experts at a research firm based in Tulare County, California, showing positive results for combatting bovine mastitis, an inflammatory condition of the udder that impacts milk production.

Synthetic Genomics, Inc.

Commercial scaling and process improvements for algae cultivation were performed at SGI's Imperial Valley Facility, while the La Jolla facility mapped the genome of our proprietary algae strain in anticipation of a strain development program.

Harmon Consulting, Inc. (HCI)

We have worked with HCI on crucial technical aspects toward advancing our algae cultivation and processing technology. Their contributions span cultivation science, downstream processing, quality systems, and GRAS certification of the product. Their support in the development and training of the production staff will help to ensure ongoing project success.

Licensing Opportunities

Potential partners and licensees require proof that our nutritional and active components deliver on claims, therefore, we have engaged in a variety of validation, safety, interactions, and stability tests to prove such claims, and meet compliance regulations set forth by the FDA, USDA, EPA, and FTC.

We follow specific protocols and processes for all licensing packages, including our models for efficacy and compliance. Our intention is to expand our potential licensing opportunities based on new research and development data in the near future.
